The Association of Translation Agencies ('ATA') is the professional association of translation agencies in the Netherlands. The association protects the interests of its members and its objective is to contribute to the improvement of quality within the translation industry in the Netherlands. This is also why membership is only granted to professional agencies. Its members respect the ATA's code of conduct and objectives and observe its collective General Terms and Conditions. Vertaalbureau Boot is of course a member of the ATA. The ATA is in turn affiliated with the European Association of Translation Companies, an umbrella organisation for all national associations of translation agencies across Europe. Vertaalbureau Boot is thus also indirectly affiliated with the EUATC.
